Vanilla Frosting For Cupcakes Recipe

This vanilla frosting for cupcakes makes enough for 12 cupcakes and keeps well in the fridge.


1 cup butter, softened
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
(Makes enough to frost one 9x13 inch cake or 12 cupcakes)


To make this yummy frosting which can be used on just about any cake or cupcake:

First cream together butter, sugar and salt.

It should be light and fluffy.

Add the milk and vanilla and beat for an 3-4 minutes or until light and fluffy.

Spread frosting on dessert, or put into bag for piping.
