Plum Crumble Recipe

This plum crumble uses fresh pitted plums, and a mixture of flours including almond flour to make the crumble topping.


1 cup almond powder
1/2 cup blanched almond, crushed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
7 cups plums, pitted, cut in 8 quarters ( 6 to 8 plums)
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted


Place the oven rack to the center of the oven.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Grease an 8 inch pan with a bit of butter.

In a large bowl mix almond powder, crushed almonds, flour, and sugar.

Add butter and mix until crumble.

Set aside.

In your prepared pan, mix sugar and cornstarch. Add plums and butter and stir well.

Evenly top the filling with the crumble and cook for 40-45 minutes or until golden.

Serve warm with ice cream or whip cream.
