A recipe for Dark Chocolate Salty Pistachio Bark that is very quick and easy to make makes a wonderful food gift.
Prepare an 8 inch baking pan by coating with butter.
Line the buttered pan with parchment paper leaving an overhang. This will make for easy removal later.
Chop your pistachios. You can do this on a cutting board with a large sharp kitchen knife. Put aside.
Melt the chocolate over a double boiler.
Pour the melted chocolate into your prepared pan and smooth it out with a spatula.
Sprinke the coarse sea salt and chopped pistachios while it is still warm.
Chil in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until it has set then remove from the refrigerator and remove the Pistachio bark from the pan by lifting out the parchment paper.
Peel off the parchment paper and place onto a cutting board where you can cut into pieces.
