Baked Vanilla Donuts Recipe

This recipes for baked vanilla donuts is filled with yummy vanilla flavor.



2 cups cake flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons butter, melted

Makes about 12 donuts


Preheat oven to 425F.

Grease a donut pan with oil.

In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat in buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and melted butter, until well incorporated.

Pour batter into prepared pan, filling each cavity 2/3 of the way

Bake for 7 - 9 minutes, or until donut springs back when touched. Let cool, once cool enough to touch turn donuts out of pan and coat with granulated sugar. Serve warm.
