Tater Tot Chicken Casserole Recipe

This recipe uses, canned and frozen foods. It is quick to prepare and a good meal when you are having a busy day.

Ingredients

2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, cubed
3 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 package (16 ounces) frozen peas and carrots, thawed
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 package (32 ounces) frozen Tater Tots

Makes 12 servings

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Combine the soup, milk and butter in a large saucepan.

Heat over medium low, stir in the chicken, frozen vegetable and 1 cup of the cheese.

Transfer to the baking dish.

Top with Tater Tots; sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Cover with aluminum foil, place into the preheated oven and bake for 35 minutes.

Uncover and bake 5-10 minutes longer or until heated through, and golden brown on top.
