Make these Munching Meatballs ahead of time and heat just before you need them or make'em and eat'em right away! Delicious little bites with dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Munching Meatballs
1 pound ground pork
1 pound ground lean beef
1 cup dried breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt & pepper
1 Tablespoon Olive oil, for cooking

Dipping Sauce
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup ketchup
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Optional: a sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Link a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Lightly grease the parchment paper with olive oil.

In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients . Use your hands to squeeze the meat mixture together and then form into small balls. The balls should be small enough that you can eat them in one bite. About 1-inch.

Heat the oil a large frying pan over medium heat. Place the meatballs in and let them cook for 3-4 minutes. Turn them over after 2 minutes. You want them browned. They should cook through quickly as they are small. Be careful to not break them up, you want to keep them as balls.

*If you are making these for an event, you can put them into a container and keep in the refrigerator until later.

Otherwise, transfer the meatballs to the prepared cooking pan and bake for 10 minutes.

Dipping Sauce

Stir together the dipping ingredients and serve with the munching meat balls.
