Chocolate Bavarian Cream Cheese Cake Recipe

A Delicious recipe for chocolate Bavarian cream cake with cheesecake filling.

Ingredients

Cheesecake:
1 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/8 teaspoon vanilla

Crust:
1 2/3 cups chocolate graham crumbs
1/3 cup butter, melted
3 Tablespoons granulated sugar

Filling:
2 cups cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups Bavarian cream
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Garnish:
1/4 cup chocolate, shaved
8 strawberries, halved

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8 inch pan.

To make the cheesecake squares. Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and eggs.

Add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Pour batter into a baking pan.

Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool before cutting into small squares.

Have ready an 9 inch spring form pan.

To make the crust, Mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar together.

Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.

Put the crust in the refrigerator to set until ready to fill.

To make the filling, Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until it is soft and smooth.

Add the Bavarian Cream and continue beating, scraping down the sides until smooth.

Melt the chocolate and drizzle the warm chocolate into the filling while the mixing.

Add the extract and mix until smooth.

To assemble, Place cut cheesecake squares around crust.

Spread the filling into the crust around cheesecake and smooth flat with a spatula, sprinkle with chocolate shavings.

Chill 3 hours or until ready to serve.
