Berry Yogurt Smoothie Recipe

Great anytime ... Makes a nutrious quick fill-in meal for that person on the run

Ingredients

1 1/2 cupsBlueberries, (frozen for thicker smoothie)
1 cupStrawberries, (frozen for thicker smoothie)
1Banana, (optional)
1/2 cupPeaches or Mango, (only if Banana is not desired)
1 cupVanilla or Honey Yogurt, (Greek style for tartness and creaminess)
1-2 cupsOrange Juice or other fruit juice, (amount depends on blender)

Directions

Combine frozen blueberries, strawberries and other desired fruits into blender. Blender should be no more than halfway filled with fruit.

Add 1-2 cups of orange juice, apple juice or pineapple juice to blender and blend until smooth. You may need to add more orange juice depending on the strength of your blender.

Add yogurt to your smoothie and push down into mixture with spoon. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Pour smoothies into two large glasses and serve with a straw. Enjoy!

Honey is a good natural sweetener

When you buy bananas , peel them, slice them, put in a sealed container and freeze. Then you can just take out a few chunks at a time and your smoothies will be colder and nicer flavored
