Baked Beef Kabobs Recipe

A popular summer main dish. Tender cubes of beef and sweet bell peppers marinated together is a classic savoury marinade.

Ingredients

12-14 Skewers
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
dash chili flakes
2 pounds top sirloin steak, 1 inch thick, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 red bell pepper, cut into squared pieces
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into squared pieces
1 zucchini, sliced into 1/4" thick rounds
1 onion, cut into squared pieces
Serving Size - 12 to 14 skewers

Directions

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil.

To prepare the marinade, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chill flakes in a large bowl.

In the bowl with the marinade, add the cut peppers, zucchini and onion. Mix together.

Add the meat to marinade and mix until everything is well coated.

Remove the skewers from the water and begin skewering, alternating meat and veggies, until the skewer is full. Repeat process until all the meat and veggies are used up.

Arrange the kabobs on a tinfoil lined baking sheet or baking dish.

Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Turn the kabobs over and continue to bake for 5-7 minutes more. Peppers should be tender and meat should be cooked through to desired doneness.
