Ingredients

3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 Tablespoons heavy cream (whipping cream)

This recipe doubles or triples well.
Makes about 1 cup.

Directions

Beat together sugar and butter until light and fluffy, usually about 10 minutes. Add in vanilla and cream, and continuing beating for another 5 minutes.

To make roses, use a star tip and pipe a circle starting from the inside working your way out. Use bigger star tip for bigger roses and a smaller one for small roses.

To make different colours use coloured gel paste, if you only have liquid food colouring omit heavy cream, you may also need to add more confectioners sugar to keep the consistency right, and not to runny.

Always store un-used icing in the fridge, to re-use let warm up a bit and beat again in mixer to soften up and make light and creamy again.

The white little balls are an edible confetti that you can buy in the store.
